Description

Nut Puzzle: Color Sorting Challenge leans on a simple idea—just sort nuts by color onto matching bolts. Sounds easy, right? At first, well, it is. A couple of taps here and there and you’re clearing levels without breaking a sweat. But then the game quietly cranks things up—extra colors, not enough space, odd bolt arrangements that mess with your plan. That moment when you realize your usual strategy won’t cut it anymore kind of sneaks up on you. What’s nice is the pacing doesn’t rush; you can take your time thinking through each move or just jump around tapping if you feel lucky (or impatient). There’s a handy undo button if you make a misstep. It’s interesting how fast it goes from "easy distraction" to "wait, I need to think about this one." No timers breathing down your neck either—this one’s friendly for those who want to chill out or just enjoy picking away at puzzles while listening to something in the background. Actually, anyone into sorting and organizing type games will probably like this—even if only for five minutes between other things. On browser or phone, pick up where you left off whenever you want. That part really matters, really.

I picked up Nut Puzzle: Color Sorting Challenge thinking I’d play a level or two and move on, but I wound up getting stuck for much longer than planned. It starts off with these really simple boards so I was feeling clever at first—you know how that is—but then out of nowhere some of the later levels made me backtrack more than I expected. To be honest, sometimes it felt slightly repetitive when I hit three similar boards in a row. Still, that soothing rhythm of sorting things has its own appeal and pulling off an almost-perfect sequence always feels good (even if there’s the occasional annoying bottleneck). No pressure from timers was nice—I could actually pause and overthink every step. It didn’t leave me wowed visually or anything but it had just enough tricky moments to keep me coming back for “one more level.”
