Description
Matching games with animals? Always a winner, but Animals Pare adds a bit more than the usual. At first, you get these easy little grids filled with cute faces – foxes, bears, bunnies, you name it. Your goal is simple: find two of each and pair them up before the timer runs out or the board fills up too much. It sounds simple (and honestly it is at first), but there’s something strangely satisfying about clearing a level right before time ticks away.
Then – not suddenly, but sort of sneakily – the challenge ramps up. Patterns get trickier. Maybe you start doubting if you really saw that raccoon two tiles ago. Well, that’s what keeps it interesting.
Animals Pare has a gentle pace early on but don’t be fooled by those sweet graphics; later stages do require sharp memory and sometimes quick fingers.
It's probably best for kids around 7 and up, but honestly anyone who likes casual puzzles could enjoy it on a lunch break or commute. There’s no big story or complex strategy here—just good old matching with an animal twist. Sometimes I wish there was background music that stuck around longer, but maybe that's just me being picky.
Editor's View
When I started playing Animals Pare, I thought it’d be another simple matching game I’d breeze through while barely paying attention. The early levels were exactly that—easygoing and cheerful thanks to all those expressive animal faces popping up everywhere.
But as soon as new mechanics kicked in and the boards became larger, I noticed myself leaning closer to my screen, actually thinking about moves rather than just tapping mindlessly. To be honest, some layouts genuinely made me pause and retrace my choices (not something I expected from a kids’ game). The graphics are charming—I can’t deny how fun it is when you match two oddball creatures together and they give you those happy little animations.
I did find myself wishing for more sound variety after a while—maybe even just some different tunes between stages? Still, this one kept me entertained for longer than I planned… though not without some minor frustration toward the end.
